This Peruvian Andes mountain range runs north to south the main portion of the range contains some twenty summits in an area spanning just 25 km, an adjoining chain of peaks of lesser heights is to the west, and is about 15 km in length. 6 of the tallest peaks in the main portion of the range surpass 6,000 mt. in altitude. Among the most outstanding peaks found here are Yerupajá (6,634 mt), which is the second highest mountain in Peru and Siula Grande (6.344 mt), which was featured in the film touching the void, based upon the book by mountaineer Joe Simpson.
During this trek we will encounter amazing landscapes, as we pass through countless beautiful valleys, viewing the spectacular lakes, waterfalls and rivers that make up this area.
