Yanapaccha is slightly lower than Pisco, and somewhat more difficult to climb. The panorama from the summit is one of the most spectacular in the range. This mountain is ideal for mountaineering courses, and to acclimatize for 6,000 meters expeditions. It has a 180 meter sheer wall (55º to 65º angle) from the Summit you can see the Conchucos región, and Chacraraju, Chopicalqui, Contrahierbas, Pisco, Huandoy , Laguna 69, and Huascarán.
