Yanapaccha is slightly lower than Pisco, and somewhat more difficult to climb. The panorama from the summit is one of the most spectacular in the range. This mountain is ideal for mountaineering courses, and to acclimatize for 6,000 meters expeditions. It has a 180 meter sheer wall (55º to 65º angle) from the Summit you can see the Conchucos región, and Chacraraju, Chopicalqui, Contrahierbas, Pisco, Huandoy , Laguna 69, and Huascarán.

- Day 1: Huaraz (3,100 mt) - Yungay (2,500 mts) - Km 42 Llanganuco Portachuelo - Morrena Camp Yanapaccha
- Day 2: Morrena Camp Yanapaccha (4,650 mts) - Yanapaccha Summit (5,460 mts) - Morrena Camp Yanapaccha
- Day 3: Morrena Camp Yanapaccha (4,650 mts) - Cebollapampa (3,900 mts) and come back to Huaraz.
