Nevado Copa is easily seen from Huaraz. It is the easiest of the 6,000 meter peaks in the range it is frequently skied. If you want to ski a big mountain, this is the perfect choise.
From the outlet of Lejiacocha Lake (4,100 mt) you cross through moraine to the glacier which emnates from the upper portion of the mountain.

ITINERARY
- Day 1: Huaraz (3,100 mts) - Vicos (3,000 mts) - Base camp Copa (4,600 mts).
- Day 2: Base camp Copa (4,600 mts) - Morrena camp Copa (5,150 mt) - one camp Copa (5,950 mts).
- Day 3: one camp Copa (5,950 mts) - Copa Summit (6,188 mts)
- Day 4: Copa Summit (6,188 mts) - Vicos (3,000 mts) - and come back to Huaraz.
